Vacation!

So.... This week has been incredibly busy.  Between rushing to do stuff with the family and my sister and getting ready for my vacation, I haven't really had much time to just sit and breath.

My car has, hopefully, been fixed. I say hopefully because I received it back on Tuesday, it ran great, and then was totally dead again on Wednesday.  But I was able to drive it to work today, and I'm keeping my fingers crossed it will start after work.

As it is, though, I don't think I can trust the car. Which means I'm going car shopping when I get back.  It's not something I want to do, but they weren't able to find a reason the battery kept dying, and I need a car I can trust.  So car shopping it is.  It kind of sucks, because I had my hopes set on getting a scooter this spring, but with a new car payment that really won't be an option.  Ugh.

Anyway.  Going to see Bill Cosby tonight with my sister, which will be really fun.  Then, possibly, off to a haunted house.  Some sleep and then on the plane tomorrow to Boston!  Whoohoo!  I'm so looking forward to my vacation.

Take care all, I hope you're all well.

If you are looking for car recommendations I really love my new Honda Fit (which is something coming from someone who thought she'd never own anything but a Ford).

It gets great gas mileage, it's roomier on the inside than you'd think from the outside, it runs great, and I get questions and comments all the time from passers-by who like the way it looks! And considering price, it was what I'd describe as just below mid-range--not the cheapest, but far from the most expensive. We got an excellent deal on it, one which included an extended warranty plus GAP insurance.

You are seeing Bill Cosby?!? Oh, I am SO jealous!

I will have to look into that! I love my little Toyota, but I think a Honda may be the next car.

Bill Cosby was hilarious! We laughed the entire time, and he was very nice. I'm so happy I was able to go.
