Convention

First, let me just say I hate the new layout. Hate it!  It's ugly, and horribly bland, and I wish that LJ would get its head out of its ass and realize that they're very loyal fanbase hates them with the passion of a thousand fiery suns.  Ugh.

But enough of that.

I went to the local sci-fi convention Friday night and Saturday, and it was a blast!  I have a few pictures, but mostly it was just wandering around, hanging out with friends, drinking a little, and spending way more money than I should have, lol.  There's a few blurry photos, but the costumes were just amazing!  Enjoy!

It was a great convention, and even though it goes until 2 today, I think I'm done for the year.  Also, wearing a corset for 9 hours? More tiring than one would think, lol.  But I had a blast and can't wait for next year.

Thank you! I love that bag so much. I found it at a Ren Fair a few years ago and it's been my go to bag ever since. It holds an astonishing amount of things!

Thank you! I had such a good time, it was amazing! I think the best part was when people realized what I was. There was always a few seconds of, "Oh, nice costume. OMG, you're a hobbit!"

Thank you! I haven't gone to many conventions, but I always try to make this one. It's so much fun to see all the different costumes and to be part of that world for a bit. Usually I go as a belly dancer, but this year I branched out and had such a blast!

Hehehe! Thank you! I love my hobbit feet. They were comfortable and kept my feet warm!

The corset wasn't bad, but it was a relief to take it off at the end of the day. I wore it for about 9 hours straight. I love the figure it gave me, and it made my back feel great, but there is something to be said for breathing comfortably.
