piploverI had a terrible migraine yesterday but managed to work the full day. Thankfully one of the doctors gave me an anti-nausea tablet, otherwise I would have had to call it quits. I hate being queasy.
I woke up this morning to it still hanging about, so called in sick. I hate doing that, but I've just come to accept that if I keep pushing myself when I feel that shitty it only gets worse. I've pretty much loaded up on migraine meds and anti-nausea stuff today, and still feel icky, but I think I'll be able to go in tomorrow.
My boss will probably bitch since I took today off, but I don't really care. She isn't the one who has to deal with patients all day, as well as all the other stuff I do, and with a migraine it's almost impossible to focus.
So, stayed home today and spent a good deal of it in bed. Wish me luck with having the damn headache gone by tomorrow.
