Happy Holidays!

Hello, all!

I just wanted to wish everyone a happy holidays, and thank those who sent me cards.

I've been really busy at work the past month, since it's open enrollment for both Medicare and most other insurances.  I'm still loving the job, though, and couldn't be happier!

My sister flew in to town last Friday so I haven't had very much time to myself.  I love her and all my family, but I finally took Wednesday night to myself so I could wrap presents and enjoy some alone time. And then the dog ate half a bag of chocolate.  Needless to say, it's been a busy time.  The dog is fine, and probably learned nothing from the experience.

I'm coming down with a cold, but I'm hoping to keep it at bay until after the holidays.  Ugh.

My life is so boring, lol.  I hope you're all doing well, and have a great next few days, whatever you celebrate!

Boring life? At work yes, everything else is a mess. I remember a friend saying '2016 will be our year'. But not much has changed. Except the worst experience ever - my mum died.

We try to deal with it. But it's hard when you are looking for christmas baubles and you find the egg cozies she made instead...

But I will keep a stiff upper lip and bake more biscuits. Krakens and cats and crocodiles :)

I'm so sorry about your mum. I can't even imagine. I hope you were able to enjoy a bit of the holiday. Take care, and hopefully 2017 will be a bit better for all of us.

Thanks. Yes. We couldn't imagine too... We thought it would hurt, my sister and me, but it hurts sooo much... I'm still in I-don't-believe-it-mode...
Holidays are very quiet and I'm enjoying it very much :) We went to the theatre and might do so a second time.
Actually I'm eating and doing nothing. Except watching movies and birds. Life is still beautiful after all.
