I have a question for all of you out there who are not from the US. I was reading a Highlander fanfic today (blushes and bows head) and they kept using the term, "get around" instead of get dressed. Is that a French or English saying? At first I had no idea what they were talking about, but they kept using it, and the person who wrote the story was not American. Can anyone help this poor, confused hobbit?

I never heard that phrase for getting dressed.

Here´s a question from an equally confused hobbit: What is Highlander?

It's a tv series from the 90s based off a movie from the 80s with the same name and premise. Basically, there are immortals among us, and the only way they can die is if you cut off their head. Whenever they kill another immortal, they recieve their life force and all the experiances of the immortal's other kills. It was actually a pretty good series, and lasted about 5 or 6 years.

As far as I know, it's certainly not English! Or anything British for that matter....

Might be wrong, but...yeah.
