Missing my sweety

I was able to speak with my sweety today, and found out that he may be getting deployed next week. *sigh* I just wish that we had a bit more time, now that he finally has his computer up and we are able to talk.
I have lost count of all the poeple that keep telling me that our relationship will never work, and think I shall strangle the next person who says so. Yes, a long distance relationship is very hard, but I know in my heart that so long as you love the person, and they love you, and you both make an effort to keep in contact, then everything will work out.
Why must people be so negative, and yet think they are being helpful? Grrrrr.

I am, but it is so hard sometimes not to strangle the next person who says, "Oh, he's in Germany, he's already cheating on you, just give up?"
I had someone tell me that exactly. I had to fight the urge not to kick him.
