piploverI am ever so thankful that I got into the habbit of shaking my towels out after a bath in Korea. I do it now without thinking.
Just got out of the bathtub, grabbed a towel, shook it, and a giant, and I mean huge, spider went sailing across the room. Shudder. Oh, yes. Korea, thank you!

Date: 2004-05-05 12:16 pm (UTC)After Korea, though, I am used to large insects hiding in my linen. There were these horrible green and gold spiders that were everywhere! And cockroaches, and flying things I never did learn the name of. Like I said, I became very cautios about towels after finding a bug in my hair one time. THAT scared me for a quite a while.
