Rumors running rampant

piploverWell, I just heard quite an amusing rumor. One of my friends pulled me aside as I was heading out to my doctor's appointment, and told me that he had had several people aproach him with this rumor:
Apparently, he is sleeping with me, and I am carrying his child!
We both started laughing as he told me this, because, 1) we barely ever see each other, except to say hi while at work. 2) I have not been to his room in over three months, and I was always with another friend when I did go up. And 3) the shear number of people who had been spreading this rumor were rediculous.
I am not bothered by this at all, even though I must admit to being a bit put out at being thought pregnant. After all, I am not that fat!
However, after living a year in Korea, where a female could not even talk to a guy without them automatically sleeping together, I became used to rumors about me sleeping around. I realized a long time ago that people will talk no matter what you do, and if you just ignore them the rumors go away on their own.
But it was nice for a good laugh!

Rumours are rumours, what more can you expect? I bet lots of people will be surprised in about nine months from now.
